Nursing Laboratories
The college has seven nursing laboratories.
- Nursing Foundation Laboratory: fundamental nursing procedures, patient care, vital signs, bed-making and infection prevention.
- Nursing Skills Laboratory: nursing procedures, clinical techniques and patient assessment, taught through demonstration and supervised practice.
- Paediatric Nursing Laboratory: newborn care, child health assessment and paediatric nursing procedures.
- Obstetrics and Gynaecology Laboratory: antenatal and postnatal care, childbirth-related nursing procedures and women’s reproductive health.
- Pre-Clinical Science Laboratory: anatomy, physiology, microbiology and other foundation subjects.
- Community Health and Nutrition Laboratory: community health nursing, health education, nutrition assessment and dietary planning.
- Audio-Visual Aids Laboratory: teaching resources for demonstrations and presentations.
Virtual Reality Laboratory
The virtual reality laboratory lets students work through simulated clinical scenarios before they train on the hospital wards.
Computer Laboratory
The computer laboratory has 60 computers, used for computer literacy, assignments and online learning.
Library
The library holds more than 5,000 books, including nursing textbooks, medical reference books and study material.
Classrooms
Classroom teaching combines lectures, demonstrations, discussions and audio-visual resources.
